What better way to
celebrate Saint Valentine’s weekend by having a party? February 15th sees Cryptiq doing
what they do best; throwing unique one-off parties in places no one else does.
This time they are
taking over a penthouse space in the city centre with a limited capacity of
just 80. The Cryptiq residents will be
setting the tone and finishing off the night, whilst in between you have Know
The Way resident Rebecca Vasmant and Holland’s Charlotte Schwartz.
They’ve also invited
me down to play some tunes and I figured that, instead of playing my usual
house/techno, it’d be nice to try something a bit different. I’ll be on 1-2 and hopefully that means that
everyone is drunk enough to appreciate something that they might not generally
listen to. Think 80’s pop and Johnny
Jewel. Or something like that.
Tickets for this are
£8 and if you haven’t got one, then I’d advise you to get in touch with Cryptiq on their Facebook page as you
cannot pay on the door.

return in March at SWG3 with a huge techno line up that I’ll post about later.
